Can you integrate with our existing IoT hardware?

Answer: Absolutely. We integrate with ANY IoT hardware that supports standard protocols:

Do you design custom hardware or recommend vendors?

Answer: We do NOT design custom hardware (exited 2022). Instead, we:

This approach gives you specialist expertise at each layer: hardware experts do hardware, cloud experts (us) do cloud.

What about firmware development?

Answer: We do NOT develop embedded firmware (device-level code).

What This Means:

  • • We don't write C/C++ code for microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, STM32, etc.)
  • • We don't do OTA firmware updates or bootloader development
  • • We don't handle device-side edge computing code

What We DO:

  • • Cloud-side device management via AWS IoT Core
  • • Define firmware requirements and integration specs
  • • Recommend firmware development partners if needed
  • • Build the entire cloud platform that receives data FROM devices

Best Practice: Hardware vendors typically include firmware development. We build the cloud that talks to their firmware.

How long does an IoT platform take to build?

What cloud platforms do you support?

Answer: We specialize in AWS IoT Core (80% of projects).

  • Google Cloud IoT (deprecated by Google, migration path available)

Recommendation: AWS IoT Core offers the best balance of features, scalability, cost, and integration with other AWS services (Lambda, S3, SageMaker, etc.). Unless you have specific platform requirements, we recommend AWS.

Can we start with proof-of-concept before full build?

Answer: Yes, and we recommend it for complex IoT projects.

POC Approach (4-6 weeks, $20K-$40K):

  • • Connect 1-2 sample devices to AWS IoT Core
  • • Build basic data pipeline and simple dashboard
  • • Validate connectivity, latency, data accuracy
  • • Demonstrate core functionality
